Program Timeline
Each year, the program is offered across three participation periods, aligned with the operational needs of the host organization. While exact dates may vary slightly from year to year, the timeline below reflects the typical annual cycle and can be used as a reference when planning your application.
Participation Periods
- Period 1 (P1) Late January – Late August
Ideal for candidates available early in the year and interested in a longer summer season in France. - Period 2 (P2) Late March – Late October
Suited for candidates finishing studies in early spring and seeking a spring-to-fall experience. - Period 3 (P3) Late May – Late December
Best for candidates available later in the year and interested in including the fall and holiday season.
Best Time to Apply
Applications typically open in late August for the upcoming year. Interviews are held in October and November, with final selections and placements confirmed between December and January. Selected candidates then begin preparing for departure, including visa and logistical arrangements.
- September is the best month to apply for all periods. Applications received early in the recruitment cycle are more likely to be considered for P1 and P2, which traditionally offer the highest number of positions.
- October remains a strong window, particularly for P2 and P3.
- Early November is the final opportunity for candidates targeting P3.
Due to limited positions per period and a competitive selection process, early applications are strongly encouraged.
